Low-level care residents receive the very best in clinical care, while enjoying the togetherness of our friendly community.
Each resident is unique. By listening to your needs, we can customise your care and create your individualised aged-care plan. You may need a little help with getting around, or with personal care, or other day-to-day activities.
With this extra help, daily life carries on as normal. The activities and outings are all there for you.
Our low care aged-care centres are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A clinical manager and unit coordinators oversee our trained carers and registered nurses in the delivery of your daily care. Wherever possible, the same team members will care for you each day.
When entering a Ryman low care aged-care centre, the first things you'll notice are the smiling faces, the warmth and the kindness. It's something to be experienced, so a visit is well worth your time.
At Ryman, your care is customised according to your needs and preferences. This is made easy via our award-winning myRyman Care app. A device, located in every care room, enables nurses and carers to access clinical data and record daily care tasks for you at the bedside. This means our teams can spend more quality time with you, and less time manually writing up notes. And should your primary carer be absent, everything is securely recorded on your myRyman device, making the transfer of care seamless.
“The myRyman app has been invaluable for Ryman, in how much it has improved residents’ lives.”

Prior to moving to a Ryman aged-care centre, you need to be assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS). You can contact ACAS yourself, or your doctor can refer you.
An aged care assessment will determine the level of aged care you need and if you are entitled to government assistance.
